Learn to get your (GVC General Visual Line of Certificate) so you can fly your drones in the Specific Category from 1st July 2020.
The GVC drone course is the new course that is replacing the PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operation).
Simply select a date to take your Theory Examination and ensure you complete all of the pre-requisite E-Learning modules prior to attending your 1 Day Course which ends with your 40 Question Examination.
All of our GVC Drone course E-Learning is taught by industry expert and UAVHUB CEO Matt Williams (Mr MPW) who will guide you through the learning process that will ultimately lead to you becoming a certified drone operator in the Specific Category.
When you have completed your Theory Exam, you simply need to book your Practical Examination (Operational Evaluation) at our Oxfordshire or North-Staffordshire Training Field and this will take up to 2 hours to complete.
The final part of the ICARUS GVC drone course is focused on the Operations Manual. You'll be sent a list of questions to complete detailing your planned operations, the answers to these questions are then used to create an operations manual bespoke unique to you - The manual is usually delivered within 5 working days.

On successful completion of this course, you are awarded an RAE Recommendation Certificate which is required to apply for an Operational Authorisation with GVC Permissions from the CAA.
